Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving the Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years. 

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 50 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Firestone Family Camp and Court of Honor, Aug 23-24

Our biggest Court of Honor is held at the end of summer at a fun overnight outing for the whole family. Hope you can join us! 

This year we are going to BSA Firestone Ranch in Brea on August 23-24. Please RSVP here by Aug 18.  As always, everyone should reply whether you can go or not.

Backpack and School Supplies Drive

For the first time, the West Valley Food Pantry (at POP) is seeking donations of school supplies for needy families.  They need to fill backpacks for 338 local students, many homeless.  Please see below for List of Supplies Needed and Fulfilled.

Please bring donations by August 1st to the Food Pantry at POP (hours below), or to the July 28 Troop Meeting.  Scouts who collect supplies can also get Community Service hours.  You can also donate money for the Pantry to buy in bulk.

New Troop 22 Committee Chair: J.R. Lal

Please welcome JR Lal as our new Troop 22 Committee Chair!  He is stepping into the (figuratively) huge shoes of Stacy Alperson, to whom we owe huge thanks.  The Chair works with the Scoutmaster to lead the troop, liaises with the BSA district and POP Church, and organizes the parent volunteer Committee in all administrative and non-outdoor support of the troop.
