Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church. We have been serving the Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness. Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose! During our tenure we have helped over 50 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Here's a chance to work on the GARDENING MERIT BADGE with other scouts. You can grow your own garden or work on a vegetable & flower garden at the DeJesse home in Hidden Hills.

First meeting will be 6:30 PM on Monday, May 20th. At this meeting, we will discuss the requirements and set various dates over the next 3 months to fulfill them. If you are interested in working with us on this Merit Badge, you MUST do the following BEFORE the first session:

Attached is the flyer about the Kids Fishing day being held this Saturday. If any kids 15 and under like to fish, this is always a fun event. Note to parents: bring a small ice chest with ice to pack freshly caught and cleaned trout in. Volunteers are there to clean the kids fish and even show the kids how the fish are cleaned and prepared for cooking. My boys have been fortunate in receiving raffled off prizes over the last few years, like a 3-man tent, fishing pole and reel combo. Gift cards as examples. Please forward this to your members, and we hope to see a few boys make it if they can. We look forward to making new friends and getting to know everyone in our new scouting family.

This website has some great tools for Troops but is terrible for storing/sharing photos, so we keep running into problems. We'll keep this website but also want to find the best Photo Sharing Service for our needs. We each tend to know 1 service well so we need your input to compare different sites. If you have used GROUP ALBUMS on any site that has the features listed below, please help!

Congratulations to Marcia MacKay who was awarded the District Award of Merit on Saturday night by the Balboa Oaks District for her work as their HAT Team Chairperson. Only a few of these awards are handed out each year by the District.
