Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 60 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at info@BSAtroop22.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

Eagle Project Thanks!

To all of those who helped me on my Eagle Project at Calabasas High School, thank you for your time and commitment for helping me achieve my life goal of being an Eagle Scout.  The work that was completed turned out really well and reflects the combined effort of all those who helped.

Gear Head Files #1 - 10 Essentials

Posted by sjsigman on Sep 11 2013 - 9:37am

As promised at Monday's meeting, the Gear Head will be posting weekly musings on the gear needed, desired, and (occasionally) lusted after for a successful backpack outing.  The goal is that you will have all the information necessary to borrow, rent, or buy the equipment you will need in time for our first backpack outing of the year, in October.  Every Scoutmaster and ASM of Troop 22 has experienced the pride and pleasure of owning the right tool for the job, and we've also all suffered the ill-fitting boot, the too-small backpack, or some other gear that did not live up to expectations.  Therefore, we all have an opinion that we're happy to share.  Fortunately for me, I volunteered to write the postings!
