Click on link to see photos: "Cold-weather clothing for the homeless on New Year's Day"     Bailey and Alex spent New Years day delivering cold-weather clothing to the California National Guard's (CNG) Sylmar Armory. The Armory is part of the City's Winter Shelter Program (WSP), started in the early 2000's after more than two dozen deaths from hypothermia in Los Angeles county.Funded by a City grant, the WSP opens emergency shelters like the Armory in Sylmar when temperatures fall below 40F. Some shelters provide limited meals, but none provide clothing. According to John, Manager at the shelter "most of our clients lack even basic clothing that protects them from cold and rain, these jackets are really appreciated!"Alex and Bailey collected more than 100 jackets during a jacket drive at school, and from friends and family.  See the photos of their project!

I am very happy and proud to announce that Zachary Skidmore successfully completed his Eagle Board of Review Monday, December 10th at 8:00PM.  Zach became the 59th Eagle Scout in Troop 22.
