Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 60 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at info@BSAtroop22.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

At Troop 22's biggest Court of Honor ever, we said THANK YOU to our beloved Scoutmaster Will Michael and welcomed our NEW Scoutmaster David Goldenberg.

Both leaders said their service is possible due to their families' sacrifice and support.

Ahoy Mates! Greetings from Beautiful Emerald Bay

Posted by qnguyen on Aug 9 2013 - 12:34am

via text Tuesday AM from Lonnie Alperson, ASM:   We are all doing great!  The entire troop did the swim test at 6:00am and although it was cold, the scouts did very well. Now they are all busy, going to their Merit Badge classes. Many of the scouts went on a mountain bike ride yesterday, and today we will be paddling Kayaks as a troop during our free time. Last night the scouts cooked a delicious BBQ on the beach! Umm good!  The weather here has been fantastic, around the mid 70's during the day and then in the high 50's during the evenings. The boys are having a great time making new friends, and learning new skills! Well that's all for now!   Arrr.....from the ASM staff at Emerald Bay!
