Welcome !

Welcome to Troop 22! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church.  We have been serving the Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for over 20 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, citizenship and personal fitness.  Our Troop accomplishes this through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with a purpose!  During our tenure we have helped over 50 boys become Eagle Scouts!

Please e-mail us at troop22wh@gmail.com to arrange to visit one of our meetings.  There's always room for one more at Troop 22!

CALABASAS AUTO SPA & DETAIL WASH BUCKS

Every time you get a hand car wash or detail, buy a gift, have an espresso, smoothie, or a deli sandwich, for every $10 purchase (except for lottery tickets and gasoline) you will earn a “WASH BUCK”.  We collect these “WASH BUCKS” and turn them in for cash for Troop 22.  They are not given automatically; you MUST ask the cashier when you are paying for your purchase for them!    If you have any questions, please contact Karen D. & turn them in to her.

A new report from Camp Chawanakee! Thank you Lonnie!

Posted on Jul 19 2012 - 12:46pm

"Hello" from Camp Chawanakee!  Yesterday after many of the boys did their morning merit badge classes we all took a side trip and had a picnic at Mckinley Grove. The home of the tallest living sequoia trees in this area. It was an absolutely beautiful time there. In addition, under the guidance of our leadership Matt Feder, SPL and Bailey Van Tassell, ASPL we  earned last night the "Thumb Stick" that honors one of the best troop campsites. Your boys will explain when they return. Today we have gone to 100% boy lead leadership, with NO input from ASM staff. This is the Chawanakee challenge that we as staff have decided to follow .  Tonight, after a day of more Merit Badge work some of the boys will be heading off on an overnight canoe outing.

Our first report from Camp Chawanakee

Hi all. Greetings from beautiful Camp Chawanakee. The boys are doing well working deligently on their merit badges. They are all eating well and having fun bonding, doing skits, and learning a whole lot of skills. Weather has been very nice, a bit cool in the evenings. Food has been good, and we are asking them to regularly clean their filthy bodies. We are all having a great time together! See you soon....Troop 22 ASM's
