Welcome!

Welcome to Troop 22B (boys), Troop 22G (girls) & Venturing Crew 22 (co-ed)! We are chartered by Prince of Peace Episcopal Church and have been serving Woodland Hills and surrounding communities for more than 25 years.

The aim of the Scouting program is to develop youth with character, skills and fitness. Our Troop accomplishes these goals through fun activities like hiking, camping and community service projects. We have fun...with purpose! T22B & T22G have helped over 100 boys and girls become Eagle Scouts.

Please contact us (link to T22 Parent Committee Chair Lisa Looney) to arrange a visit one of our meetings. There's always room for one more in T22B, T22G & Venturing Crew 22.

Please join us in congratulating Evan Ireland, who has earned Scouting's highest rank: Eagle Scout.

Reaching Eagle is no small thing. Fewer than six percent of Scouts ever make it, and it takes years of steady work: 21 merit badges, leadership in the troop, a service project planned and led start to finish, and a Board of Review to bring it all home. Evan put in that work, and Troop 22 is proud of him.

Congratulations, Evan. Once an Eagle, always an Eagle.

MARK YOUR CALENDAR: Monday, September 14, at the Troop meeting.

Scouts, this is your troop. On September 14 you get to decide who leads it. Step up, speak up, and cast your vote.

RUNNING FOR SPL? READ THIS. Candidates for Senior Patrol Leader must be approved at the meeting BEFORE elections, which is Monday, September 7. If you are not approved that night, you cannot be on the ballot. Talk to the Scoutmaster on or before September 7.

TWO DATES TO REMEMBER Mon, Sept 7 -> SPL candidates approved Mon, Sept 14 -> Elections held

Eagle Scout Project - Kai Parsavand - August 29 & 30

Hello Troop 22,

I am currently planning my Eagle project. It will be conducted at Topanga Elementary Charter School on August 29 and 30 at 8-12 and 8-2 respectively (sign up on the Troop's website). During my project, we will build 5 garden towers and a 12'x12'x10' enclosure. There will also be beautification of the surrounding area around the enclosure. This will help the kids of Topanga have a functional garden (their current garden is being demolished for septic repair) and have a space to grow fruits and vegetables. Any and all help is much appreciated. If that's a donation (please see fundraising link below), volunteering or both. I hope to see you all there.
