Merit Badge Counselor Orientation

Every year, Troop 22 offers this training in-house during a Troop meeting.

Running the training at Prince of Peace during a Troop meeting means that it is very easy for parents to attend
Merit Badge Counselors must reapply and be approved by the District and Council each year
New parents join the troop each year
As parents become more experienced with Boy Scouting they may become interested in becoming a Merit Badge Counselor
Its a great refresher for continuing Merit Badge Counselors who may have forgotten some of the details and guidelines
Parents who just want to find out about the Merit Badge Process may want to sit in on the class
It is a good time to make sure that all of our Troop 22 Merit Badge Counselors have filled out their annual application
