What: Cub Scout and Boy Scout and Venturing Leader
Training
When: Saturday September 6, 2003 (except # 9)
1. Youth Protection Training: required to take scouts on any outing 1 hour Free 8:30am
2. New Leader Essentials: basic training for all levels of scouting. The nuts and bolts of scouting. Great training for all parent and leaders. 1 hour Free 10am
3. Cub Scout Specific: Cubmasters, Tiger Leaders, Wolf and Bear Leaders, Webelos Leaders and Pack Committee 12:30-3:30 3 hours $10.00 includes lunch and materials.
4. Boy Scout Specific Training: part 2 of required training for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters 12:30-5:30 5 hours $10.00 includes lunch and materials
5. Venturing Specific Training: basic training for all new leaders to Venturing.
12:30-5:30 5 hours $10.00 includes lunch and materials
6. Troop Committee Challenge: basic training for all members of a Troop Committee.
12:30-3:30 3 hours $10.00 includes lunch and materials
7. Den Chief Training: Boy Scouts learn how to work with Cub Scouts as a Den Chief. 9:00am-2:00 5 hours $10.00 lunch and materials.
8. BALOO: training that is required for Cub Scouts that plan to take their pack camping.
9:30-5:00pm 7 hours $15.00 lunch and materials
9. Introduction to Outdoor Leader Skills Part 3 Training for Scoutmasters and Assistant Scoutmasters Course begins Friday October 3, 2003 8pm, Course Ends Sunday October 5 11am Location: Camp Josepho Pacific Palisades $25.00 includes crackerbarrel Friday, three meals Saturday and breakfast Sunday. Lot of great training and materials!
