Camp Whitsett Description

Camp Whitsett is a beautiful camp and one of our favorites for Summer Camp!! Camp Whitsett is located in the mountains above Kern County's beautiful Lake Isabella. It is truly a great spot and the boys always have a ball. Summer camp is one of the prime opportunities for the Scouts to earn merit badges, participate in more demanding activities and gather awards not usually obtainable during the rest of the year.

Troop 22 wants every boy in the troop who wants to attend camp to do so. Families who may have difficulties with fees have access to BSA Campership Grants and other forms of assistance. Please contact Scoutmaster Bob Czubiak or Parent Committee Chairman Sonia Henderson ASAP for information.

Required Medical forms for Summer Camp
- Class 1 Medical Release Form (Acrobat Doc) Required for Scouts for summer camp. Class 1 part to be filled out annually by parent.
- Class 2 Medical Release Form (Acrobat Doc) Required for Scouts for summer camp. Class 2 part to be filled out every 36 months and signed by a licensed health-care practitioner.
- WLACC Youth Permission Form (Acrobat Doc) Required for Scouts for summer camp. Includes camp permission to treat, firearms release, photo release etc.
- Class 3 Medical Release Form (Acrobat Doc) Required for leaders for summer camp and all for high adventure outings. This form is usually filled out just prior to such an event. Requires a medical examination and signature of licensed health-care practitioner.
