Troop 22 Policies and Code of Conduct

for

Emerald Bay Summer Camp 2003

Summer camp is fun!!  Lets keep it fun by following some basic policies.

Troop 22 is a family – expect to treat other members kindly.

Our rules of conduct will be the Scout Oath and Law.  Repeated or serious violation of the Scout Oath or Law by any Scout will result in dismissal from Camp and return to the mainland at the expense of his parents.

There will be no food allowed in any tent.  (Parents please don’t send tons of junk food – your kids get plenty at the trading post!!)

No Cell phones allowed (won’t work anyway) and no phone calls.  Summer camp away from home is a big step.  Have confidence in your Scout’s ability to overcome any initial anxieties.  Support your Scout by trusting in him and he will come home a little bit more independent, a little bit more mature and one step closer to becoming a man of character.

Return the signed portion below to Barry Burgess on or before the Pack Check.

Notes about your Scout

Please let us know in writing or in person about your special Scout.  Everyone is unique and has their own set of concerns they have to deal with: fears, habits, physical struggles, moods, etc.  Please let us know how we can help your Scout grow this summer!
