Troop 22 High Adventure Trips
 Troop
22 has a tradition of sending a couple of crews to one of the three High
Adventure bases each year in rotation. High Adventure trips are only available
to older, experienced Scouts and require great physical and emotional
preparation. Teamwork is the key to High Adventure success. The three bases
each provide very different challenges. These trips keep the older Scouts
interested in Scouting and provide a very high goal for the younger Scouts just
learning their Scout skills and gives them something to look forward to.
The cost for these outings is about $1000. Participants
for these outings are selected by the Scoutmaster and must make the following
requirements:

Age 13 (Seabase), 14 (Philmont or Northern Tier)

Class III Physical

Must meet weight requirements

Must pass Swim check (Florida and Northern Tier)

Approval from Scoutmaster
Assistant Scoutmasters selection based on:
- Space availability
- Training
- Outdoor and leadership experience
