• From the church, take the 101 east (south)
• Take the 405 north
• Take the 14 north towards Palmdale.
• Exit at Angeles Forest Highway/ Pear Blossom Highway.
• Take Angeles Forest Highway to the top of the mountain
• At the intersection with Mount Gleason Road (Forest Service Road 3N17), there is a picnic ground on the left. 
• Meet in the parking lot at the picnic ground.
• We will proceed together up 3N17 to the trailhead near the detention camp.
