Anthony's Trail to Eagle Scout
Anthony's Eagle ProjectProject DescriptionMy project was to organize a backpack drive within my community in summer 2005 to provide 400 sets of school supplies for the 4th, 5th and 6th grade students at Foster Elementary School in Baldwin Park. With help from families and friends of Troop 22, I was able to collect sufficient donation of supplies, assemble them into 400 backpacks, and deliver them to the students on the first day of school. Although the project took me three months to complete and required constant monitoring, I have learned so much from going through the process. I am very grateful for the generous donations, words of encouragement, and all the interactions with many kind people. Personally I gained the greatest satisfaction from helping others.
