February Outing

• Activity: Massive Scavenger Hunt!
• Troop 22 Car Camping trip
• Extremely close -- Malibu Creek State Park!
• February 23rd through 24th
• Permission Slips due Feb 18th
• Menus and Duty Rosters due Feb 18th

• Arrive at Malibu Creek between 7:30am and 8:00 am. Go directly to Malibu Creek, do not Pass P.O.P, do not collect $200.

  • Hunt begins promptly at 8:00 am SHARP!  Key information given out at 8:00 am.  Patrols of fewer than three members will be combined with other patrols.

  Rules of the hunt:

  • Patrol members will be together at all times.  Violations will result in loss of 1 scavenged item.
  • 20 min interval between attempts at a venue.
  • Patrols collecting all items on list will receive special prize
  • Any scavenged items left unattended will disappear.  Very sad.  Keep your valuable scavenged items with your patrol AT ALL TIMES.
  • The boundaries of the Hunt area will be explained and listed on the Topo map. Stay within the boundaries or loose all scavenged items.
  • Work as a patrol to complete the Hunt.  Patrol leaders need to ensure all patrol members participate.
